Ms. Xia Zheng is the founder of AFD China. She has been practicing in intellectual property for over twenty five years and actively involving in a variety of IP practice spanning filing and prosecution, opinions, litigation and enforcement with respect to patents, trademarks, copyrights, domain names, customs protection, trade secrets, anti-unfair competitions.

Ms. Zheng obtained her Master of Science degree from University of Illinois in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Master of Engineering degree in Petroleum Processing and Master degree in Intellectual Property Law from Law School of University of New Hampshire, and diplomas for legal training programs.

Ms. Zheng participates energetically in the IP industry with extensive experience and has built a reputation in tackling difficult and complex issues thoughtfully. She is a National IP Talent named by the State Intellectual Property Office and a top individual recognized by third-party surveys conducted by such as Managing Intellectual Property, IAM Patent 1000, WTR 1000, Legal500, and Asia IP. Her dedication to the IP community makes her an officially-appointed IP advisor for local innovation and entrepreneurship programs and has won her the honors including the Outstanding Patent Attorney in Beijing, the Excellent Legal Professional in Haidian, and Honor for Long-standing Contributions to Chinese Patent and Intellectual Property Industries. She is a Director of All-China Patent Attorneys Association and Capital Intellectual Property Service Association, and a Standing Director of Beijing Patent Attorneys Association, and is also a member of All China Lawyers Association, AIPPI, INTA, AIPLA, and LES.
