Deirdre Kilroy is an experienced Irish lawyer specialising in complex technology, data and IP transactions, advising innovative clients on applicable laws and regulations in Ireland and across the EU. She frequently acts as lead Irish counsel on multi-jurisdictional projects and is known for her pragmatic, calm and commercial approach.

Her practice covers the regulation of technology, gaming, gambling, digital consumer goods and data-rich industries, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, robotics, social media, e-commerce, big data and frontier technologies. She also has extensive experience advising on GDPR and data protection obligations across transactions, employment and the sale of goods and services, and assists clients in managing the full range of legal risks arising from data breaches and cyber security incidents.
