Patent strategy & counseling
Wendy is a partner of Green, Griffith and Borg-Breen LLP.
Wendy’s practice is focused on patent litigation and counseling related to pharmaceutical, veterinary, biotechnological, and chemical products. A significant portion of her practice includes counseling pharmaceutical companies with respect to all aspects of Hatch-Waxman litigation, including pre-initiation evaluation of product candidates, formulation and implementation of Paragraph IV challenge strategies, preparing notice letters, serving as trial counsel, and presenting oral argument on appeal.
She also has extensive experience representing clients in connection with a wide variety of intellectual property evaluation issues, including patent prosecution, due diligence investigations and patent validity, infringement and freedom-to-operate analyses. In addition, Wendy argued successfully on behalf of a pro bono client before the U.S. Supreme Court, setting a new 14th Amendment objective standard in a prisoner civil rights case.
Wendy’s prior experience as a former Senior Director of Intellectual Property at a generic pharmaceutical company enhanced her ability to anticipate her clients’ needs. Wendy works closely with her clients to understand their business objectives and to craft creative strategies to successfully meet those objectives.
