Jorge is a founding partner of C&L ATTORNEYS who has been practicing Intellectual Property law for the last 25 years with extensive experience particularly in trademarks, copyrights, domain names, IP litigation and enforcement of IP rights. His professional background includes a Specialization in IP at the Franklin Pierce Center for IP (USA). He has been recommended for several years in a row as a Leading IP Attorney in Mexico for his trademark and patent litigation work by WTR 1000, IAM PATENT 1000, BEST LAWYERS, WIPR LEADERS and Lawyer Monthly which recognize him as an excellent litigator with the ability to see a situation from different perspectives and get the work done even in the face of difficult obstacles.
He is an active member of INTA’s Professional Development Committee and ABA’s Enforcement Committee, who was appointed as an Expert Witness before the US Federal Court of Appeals in a cross boarder TM dispute due to his knowledge of Mexico’s IP framework and has recently provided testimony as Expert Witness in a trademark dispute happening before a London Court in regards with breach to a license agreement.
