Felix Daul is a Patent and Trademark Attorney who combines deep technical expertise with extensive
international business experience. He advises multinational corporations, growth-stage technology companies, and innovative start-ups on the protection, enforcement, and strategic development of intellectual property across a broad range of industries.

What distinguishes Felix is his ability to bridge technology, law, and business. Having worked with innovations ranging from automotive engineering and advanced manufacturing to telecommunications, software, artificial intelligence, medical imaging, sensor systems, and digital technologies, he has developed a unique capability to quickly understand complex technologies and translate them into commercially valuable and enforceable IP strategies.

Felix has substantial experience in high-stakes patent disputes and has represented a major standard-essential patent (SEP) owner in complex litigation and opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office, German courts, and the Unified Patent Court. His litigation-driven perspective enables him to build patent portfolios that are designed not only for protection but also for successful assertion in competitive markets.

A key strength of Felix is his international outlook. Prior to becoming a patent attorney, he spent eight years with TATA. During this time, he worked closely with clients, engineers, and management teams across multiple countries and industries, gaining first-hand experience with global innovation ecosystems, cross-cultural collaboration, and international business environments. This background enables him to effectively support clients operating across jurisdictions and navigating global IP challenges.

In addition, Felix led innovation projects in additive manufacturing at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA), one of Europe's leading applied research organizations. Holding Master's degrees in both Engineering and Industrial Engineering, he combines technical depth with strategic and commercial insight.

Clients value Felix for his ability to align intellectual property strategies with broader business objectives, helping organizations transform innovation into a sustainable competitive advantage. His combination of international business experience, technical versatility, and litigation expertise makes him a trusted advisor for companies seeking to build, strengthen, and leverage IP assets on a global scale.
