Our trademark working group has an experienced and profound know-how in conducting searches and advising on registrability, filing and prosecuting national, international or European trademark applications, maintaining registrations and helping in the management of the client’s portfolio and contractual issues, providing watch services, as well as representing and assisting clients in trademark enforcement and litigation matters, and anti-counterfeiting measures.

The firm has also a patent department with patent attorneys and engineers which represents and provides services to clients primarily before the Portuguese Patent Office, the European Patent Office and World Intellectual Property Organization. We have the experience and expertise to assist in any patent or designs issue, including patent drafting, patent prosecution and patent litigation

The firm provides trademark services for Portugal, the European Union and World Intellectual Property Organization and also the Portuguese speaking territories of Macao, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde and S. Tome e Principe.

SGCR practice is supported on the solid legal and technical background of the working group. All partners of the firm are trademark attorneys with more than 30 years of experience in the IP field.
