Aliona Saalo is a junior partner of the intellectual property law firm BRANN AB. She has been practicing in the IP field since 2013. She graduated with a Master of Law degree from the University of Stockholm in 2012 and she also holds a Bachelor degree since 2005 from Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania.
During her Master degree studies between years 2009-2010, she simultaneously held a position as assisting lawyer at the company active within sports anti-doping field IDTM AB. In 2013 she started working for BRANN AB, and became a junior partner in 2016.
Aliona specializes in intellectual property law, particularly trade mark and design law. Her work also includes marketing law, drafting agreements, and representation before Patent and Market Court handling administrative cancellation and or opposition proceedings as well as enforcing the rights. Aliona manages and provides strategic advice related to large trademark and design portfolios for some of Brann’s bigger clients. Also, she has been involved in different branding projects starting with trademark structuring and strategies involving name creations process. She is an authorized representative before the EUIPO.
