Seyfarth Shaw has brought in the team from IP boutique Fanelli Haag to launch a Life Sciences and Chemical Patent practice within its IP department. Among the team of IP lawyers and patent agents moving over are co-founders Dean Fanelli and Thomas Haag, both of whom join as partners; and King Lit Wong, formerly partner at Kenyon & Kenyon (now Andrews Kurth Kenyon), who joins as senior counsel. The team will be based in Washington DC. Fanelli Haag was renowned in life sciences/pharmaceutical and chemistry patent work.

Richard Willemant has rejoined French law firm Feral-Schuhl /Sainte-Marie, this time as partner in its IP department in Paris. He primarily advises on soft IP matters and is qualified to practice law in France (Paris) and Canada (Quebec). Willemant is also an accredited mediator.
