International law firm Stephenson Harwood has announced the arrival of IP lawyer Jonathan Chu as partner in its Hong Kong office. Formerly a partner at William W.L. Fan & Co, Chu focuses on contentious IP matters. Commenting on this news, the firm's co-head of IP Eifion Morris said: “His arrival not only strengthens our practice in Asia but enables us to develop the synergies across our global team and further expand our international capabilities."

Hinckley Allen has recruited Thomas F. Dunn as partner in its IP practice group. He will be based in the firm's Boston office. Dunn is particularly experienced in handling a range of matters concerning trade marks as well as commercial agreements. He joins the firm from Morse Barnes-Brown & Pendleton.

New York-based law firm Harter Secrest & Emery welcomed IP lawyers Michael J. Berchou and Rowland Richards as partners in its IP department. Berchou and Richards join from Phillips Lytle, and their individual IP practice areas include patent litigation. 

Lastly, law firm Williams Mullen also hired an IP partner: Andy Kozusko. He previously worked for a number of law firms, including his own, and served as an in-house counsel at Mylan. Kozusko's practice includes pharmaceutical patent litigation.
