Sandra Strittmatter joined the firm as a partner in its IP department. Strittmatter specialises in soft IP, with experience in the high technology, food and beverage sectors. This news follows the departure of Frank Valentin last year.

LeRoy joined the firm as a partner in its Palo Alto office.  She specialises in IP transactions. LeRoy was previously a partner at White & Case.

James Sze joins Kilpatrick Townsend
Sze joined as partner in its electrical engineering and software practice. Sze is a patent attorney, with in-house experience as an engineer at Qualcomm. He specialises in prosecution and disputes work in the high technology sector. He is based in the San Diego office.

Partner promotions at Cabinet Plasseraud
The firm promoted four patent attorney associates to partner. They were Denis Boubal, Eric Gruson, Philippe Louvel and Nadine Rocaboy.

Partner promotions at Santarelli
The firm promoted five associates to partner. They were Laurent Kurtz and Augustin Le Tourneau (patent attorneys), and trade mark attorneys Hélène Lecornu, Sophie Marc and Nathalie Rey. The firm now has seven patent partners and four trade mark partners.

New shareholders at Banner & Witcoff
