IPH Limited acquires AJ Park
New Zealand’s leading IP specialist AJ Park has joined the holding company IPH Limited. IPH purchased the firm for $66.1million NZD ($34 million USD). This will be the first patent attorney firm to be acquired as a result of the amendment to the New Zealand’s Patents Act 2013.
IP specialist firm Rouse has promoted 24 new equity executives globally including IP manager Mary Man in the Hong Kong office and trade mark attorney Hatty Cui in the Beijing office. The promotions come as part of a larger plan to exploit new emerging markets.
A new firm in the Netherlands
LAWNCH has opened its doors in Eindhoven. The three founding partners, Gino Van Roeyen, Patrick Kager, and Alexander Peerboom, specialise in IP and corporate law.
Andrea Mondini has joined TIMES Attorneys as partner. Mondini was previously with Schellenberg Wittmer and is experienced in IP disputes and contracts.
Former director of the Danish Patent and Trademark Office Jesper Kongstad has joined Zacco as an industrial advisor and investor. He will be advising on IP strategy and business growth.
