aera acquired boutique IP law firm Rightly Law Firm to create its own legal services business, aera Law, which is led by Monika Colak. Rightly Law Firm’s lawyers, including partners Louise Mühlbach Breining and Line Bruun Christiansen, have joined aera.

Patent litigator Jeppe Brinck-Jensen has joined Bech-Bruun as a partner in its IP and life sciences practice. Brinck-Jensen was previously with Plesner.

European patent attorney Yannick Biron joined Withers & Rogers’ Paris office as a partner and co-head of its IP practice in France. Biron has a background in aerospace engineering and held in-house roles at Safran and Airbus.

Finnegan has strengthened its IP practice in Germany with the recruitment of Antje Brambrink as counsel. Brambrink specialises in life sciences patent litigation.

German commercial law firm Schalast announced that LichtensteinKörner’s soft IP lawyers Thomas Sambuc, Kerstin Gründig-Schnelle and Alexander Hauch will join as partners on October 1, 2022. Gründig-Schnelle is ranked as an IP Star.
