I am a German lawyer certified as a specialist for IP law licensed to make representation before German Regional Courts and Higher Regional Courts as well as a Certified Specialist Attorney in Intellectual Property Law (Solicitor) admitted to the Supreme Court of England & Wales.

I am regularly providing strategic advice in all areas of Intellectual Property Law and associated areas of law and represent national and international clients in all matters of intellectual property rights, notably in the field of national, international and European trademark law, copyright and design law, patent and competition law, Internet-related legal issues as well as contract issues. In addition, I handle prosecution matters before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the German Federal Patent as well as all other German Regional and Higher Regional Courts in all matters of intellectual property rights. I also regularly represent clients before the European Union Intellectual Property Office, the General Court of the European Union and the European Court of Justice.

These cases include trademark and design applications, opposition and appeal proceedings as well as coordinated international complex litigation proceedings in several European jurisdictions, Asia and the USA.

Due to my dual qualification as a German lawyer certified as a specialist for IP law and licensed as a solicitor (England & Wales), I have built up extensive expertise in the United Kingdom over the years. Thus, I am frequently retained by national and international clients to act in contentious and non-contentious proceedings before the UKIPO.

At present, I am actively involved in court proceedings against one of the world’s leading art houses in an action for damages for gross negligence. The David v. Goliath situation is of particular interest in this case.
