Matt Adams is a Partner in FB Rice’s New Zealand | Aotearoa engineering team, specialising in patents and designs with a focus on drafting and prosecution in the electrical, electronic and ICT fields. He advises clients on patent specification drafting, technology transfer, strategic IP procurement and portfolio development.
Matt has extensive experience across a broad range of technologies, including film special effects, cyber physical systems, big data, unified communications, cloud computing, networking technologies, business methods, fintech, robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). He acts for a diverse client base, including start-ups, SMEs, universities, Crown Research Institutes and multinational corporations, helping align IP strategies with commercial objectives.
