Prior to establishing his leadership role at Pine IP Firm, Mr. Kang built a solid career in electronics-focused patent practice at Wooin, Lee & Mok, and Patent Office Support, where he handled a broad range of domestic and international patent matters. His experience includes patent applications, office action responses, overseas prosecution, and competitor-focused claim strategies for advanced technologies.
Mr. Kang has advised major corporations and institutions including Samsung Electronics, Yonsei Medical Center, Yonsei University, GIST, UNIST, and Kyung Hee University. He has also served as a mentor and consultant for numerous public innovation and commercialization programs, including projects related to AI learning data, ecofriendly vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, optical lens modules, university technology startups, and regional special R&D zones.
