Juan Carlos Amaro is an attorney-at-law with a postgraduate degree in Constitutional Law and IP law at the Universidad Panamericana.

He joined BC&B in 2004 and became senior partner of the firm in 2010, where he leads the IP litigation group, the trademark and copyright group and the corporate and commercial law group.

He is an active member of International Trademark Association (INTA), American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Mexican Bar Association (BMA), and the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), where he actively collaborates on the litigation and in the international trademark law and practice committees.

Juan Carlos has participated in several forums on IP matters and has published several articles in different media. He focuses his practice in IP and administrative litigation, anti-counterfeiting and constitutional law. He represents clients in their IP and commercial global strategies and has represented domestic and international clients in more than 500 litigation cases.
