Georg Rauber heads the IP/IT practice and is co-head at the newly formed TechGroup at Homburger. He has extensive and longstanding expertise in all areas of such practice. Georg Rauber's transactional work includes IP licensing and technology transfer, IP and IT spin-offs and restructurings, IT and business process outsourcing and other projects, research and development, international trade and distribution, tech and life sciences start-ups and early phase ventures as well as technology and distribution joint ventures.

Another focus of his practice is the representation of clients in litigation, arbitration and regulatory proceedings in the areas of patents, copyrights, industrial designs, trademarks, know how, proprietary and open source software, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and life sciences as well as sports properties. Georg Rauber advises clients at the interface of intellectual property and antitrust law. He regularly publishes and gives lectures in his areas of specialization and is a member of the most important national and international associations in the fields of IP and IT.
