Crystal J. Chen is a partner at Tsai Lee & Chen. Her practice of 20 years covers all areas of IP laws. She counsels on patent prosecution and enforcement, and frequently advises clients on the IP laws and practices across both China and Taiwan. She deals with infringement litigations related to patent, copyright, design, trademark, and unfair competition for a wide spectrum of industries.
Ms. Chen received her LL.M. degree from the UNH School of Law (f.k.a the Franklin Pierce Law Center). She is admitted to the National Bar of P.R. China and the New York State, the United States.
She is the incumbent Chair of Delegates for Independent Members of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the American Bar Association (ABA), IP Owners Association (IPO), the International Trademark Association (INTA), and the Beijing Bar Association. She is the editor in chief for the firm’s quarterly publication as well as a productive writer for many international journals for IP. In recent years she has also actively contributed to a series of IP conferences as a speaker or moderator.
