Yasemin Kenaroğlu is the founding partner of Kenaroğlu Avukatlık Bürosu (2008) which is a dynamic team of IP lawyers, dedicated to provide the highest quality legal and administrative services for protection of Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights. She is a registered attorney at law with the Istanbul Bar Association and a patent and trademark attorney with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
Strategic and strong-willed, Ms Kenaroğlu is one of the key leaders in the intellectual property field since 2003 and represents major international brands from various sectors including fashion, automotive, software, machinery, cosmetics, electronics, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, retail chains, media and entertainment, and food and beverages in trademark, patent, design, domain name, copyright and unfair competition matters. For Ms. Kenaroğlu, it does not matter where her clients are based as she has built a remarkably rich and multi-disciplinary portfolio for which she diligently provides legal assistance to first-hand.
Ms Kenaroğlu works on almost every aspect of IP law and she has recently led cases involving:
- managing administrative proceedings before the Turkish Patent and Trademarks Office and WIPO;
- handling IP infringement, unfair competition, invalidation and cancellation actions before the civil and criminal IP courts and Court of Appeals;
- managing investigations, conducting raids and seizures and leading customs proceedings for the purpose of brand protection;
- representing clients from different industries in settlement negotiations and contractual work; and
- providing consultancy and management services to domestic and international companies for the protection and management of their IP portfolios in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, North and South America and the Far East.
