Ulf is a European Patent Attorney well known to his clients as a capable strategist, able to quickly identify the commercial viability of their ideas. He advises many on the future capture and development of Intellectual Property, which often includes the development internally of a more patent conscious working environment and encouraging his clients to put processes in place by which to recognise patentable ideas and inventions as they happen.
Today Ulf works as a patent attorney, dealing with both drafting and prosecution of patent applications. His expertise cover Mechanical engineering, sensor and measurement technology and physics but he has assisted a range of clients across the Consumer Products, Mechanics, Green Tech and Aerospace sectors. As client responsible for some of our larger clients, he often assists clients with strategic patent support, helping them to adapt their patent portfolio to support current and planned business objectives. He also helps to guide through IPOs, ensuring that all IP-related assets are IPO ready.
Ulf joined Zacco in 2008 becoming a partner in 2018. He graduated in 2004 with an MSc from the Engineering Physics program at Umeå University, with a specialisation in measurement techniques. Prior to joining Zacco, he worked as a designer at Södra Cell Värö, focusing on process instrumentation.
Ulf is a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (EPI). He is regularly ranked as a Recommended Individual by IAM Patent 1000.
