Simona graduated with honors from the University of Pavia in 1993. There she also completed her doctoral research in industrial property law, also attending the University of Bristol and the Max Planck Institut in Munich for Innovation and Competition. Following several professional experiences in the field of industrial and intellectual property, she became founding partner of LGV in 2003.

Simona has significant experience in contentious and non-contentious matters in the field of industrial and intellectual property, as well as privacy and data protection, advertising and competition laws, advising national and international clients. She manages enforcement programs across the national territory on behalf of various clients, such as corporate rights-holders in software, as well as trade associations of software producers; her experience extends to litigation on behalf of phonogram producers and music trade associations, videogame producers and associations, owners of rights in trademarks and designs, also in the fashion field, patents and know-how, search engines and other ISPs. 

Simona provides consultancy on contractual matters, in particular with reference to IT and new technologies sectors (licenses, tenders, maintenance and development) as well as commercial communications, advertising, social networks and media; she also provides advice in various non-contentious matters and supports clients in the context of transactions involving corporate proprietors of intangible assets. Simona has wide experience in advising clients in lobbying issues, both in relation to legislative processes as well as representation before independent administrative authorites.

Since 2011 she teaches copyright and advertising law at the University of Pavia. Simona is vice-secretary and president of the education committee at AIPPI Italy, and was a member of the organization committee for the AIPPI conference in 2016 in Milan. She regularly contributes to legal magazines (AIDA, JIPLP, etc.) and law commentaries while also participating as speaker in academic, professional and master conferences.
