  • VoiceAge EVS LLC - The company has faced acts of infringement of patents I 0311523-2, BR 122017019860-2 and BR 112012025347-6. The Defendants perform patent infringement through the manufacture, use, offer for sale and sale of mobile telephone devices that implement technologies protected by the Plaintiff patents for speech encoding and decoding. Licks Attorneys assisted the company by filing a lawsuit, currently ongoing, in order to see the infringement of patents PI 0311523-2, BR 122017019860-2 and BR 112012025347-6 ceased. The ruling was issued recognizing the infringement of patents PI0311523-2, BR122017019860-2 and BR112012025347-6. The ruling condemned the Defendants to cease the violation and ordered them to pay full indemnity for the material and moral damages resulting from the infringement of patents. Against the ruling the Defendants filed an appeal and the Appellate Court confirmed the ruling in favor of VoiceAge.
