María Nájera has more than 25 years of experience in the IP legal field.
Prior to joining ClarkeModet Argentina in 2005, she worked for Moeller IP, a very well-known boutique IP firm of Buenos Aires.
In her daily work at ClarkeModet Argentina, María advises clients on legal strategies in connection with trademark issues, infringements strategies, negotiations, licenses, security interests, assignments of intellectual property assets., copyright matters, Internet, domain names, patents, and other IP rights. Her field of practice also includes IP corporate and contractual matters, infringement actions, counterfeiting and litigation.
She graduated as a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), with business orientation (1998). She also holds a Master´s degree from the University of Palermo (2002).
She is admitted to the Bar of the City of Buenos Aires (CPACF – Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal), and a registered Industrial Property Agent with the Industrial Property National Office (INPI).
She is also an active member of the Argentine Association of Industrial Agents (AAAPI), member of Legal Affaier Committee and of the Legal Affair Commission at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Argentina (CECRA). She has authored several contributions in different media and lectured on IP matters in different events
