Since joining the IP world in 2006, Florian has been working on patent applications up to grant, oppositions and appeals before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office, German nullity actions and cancellation proceedings, as well as supporting and participating in German infringement proceedings. He works mainly in the technical fields of medical technology (e.g. PCR analysis technology, catheter and implant technology, glucose measuring technology, and general drug production equipment), polymer processing technology, automotive technology, pressure measurement technology, semiconductor technology, and ink-jet printing technology. He is also a registered representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
Florian also has extensive knowledge of other national and international intellectual property rights such as trademarks, utility models and designs. In addition to his work at the firm, Florian provides pro bono advice to young inventors at the "inventors' school" in Fürstenzell and to members of the Chamber of Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria.
Being able to support his clients from the very beginning of the development of new ideas and technologies is what makes Florian's work so exciting. His clients appreciate his straightforward way of communicating technical and strategic aspects, as well as his warm and friendly manner.
Before entering the field of intellectual property, Florian worked as a developer in the fields of stent technology and radiology (in cooperation with Brainlab AG) during his mechanical engineering studies at the Technical University of Munich.
