Since our founding in 2009, we have built extensive expertise in all areas of intellectual property. Our mission is to protect and maximize the value of your intellectual assets at every stage of their lifecycle.

  • BORA CREATIONS, a company specializing in cosmetic products, approached us to defend its rights over the "I LOVE EXTREME" trademark, which had been in use for several years in the cosmetics industry but was not officially transferred under its name. We initiated a trademark claim on behalf of BORA CREATIONS, providing evidence of continuous use and growing brand recognition. Through our efforts, we successfully demonstrated that BORA CREATIONS was the rightful owner of the trademark. As a result, the trademark was officially transferred to BORA CREATIONS, with a priority date that secured its exclusive rights from that point forward. This action not only safeguarded the brand but also enhanced its commercial value, integrating "I LOVE EXTREME" into our client's intellectual property portfolio and providing a significant strategic advantage.
  • The OMPIC (Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property) rejected the trademark application No. 273004 filed by BEAUTE DESIRE for the mixed sign (cosmetic products, perfumery, and household items), following opposition No. 22533 filed by our firm on behalf of Yves Saint Laurent Parfums, based on its registered and well-known trademark (No. 1026904).  The Office acknowledged the well-known status of the Yves Saint Laurent mark in Morocco and concluded that the cosmetic and perfumery products were identical or similar. Furthermore, the figurative element of the rectangular perfume bottle, common to both trademarks, created a risk of visual confusion for the average consumer, even though some products differed and the colors varied.  As a result, the opposition was upheld, and the application for the BEAUTE DESIRE trademark was rejected, highlighting the importance of vigilance in the face of well-known trademarks and dominant figurative elements.
  • Disney, one of the leading global entertainment companies, holds copyright over iconic cartoon characters like "MOANA," "ANT MAN," and "CAPTAIN AMERICA," among others. These characters are protected under copyright law, which extends to their use in various media such as films, books, merchandise, and commercial products. When third parties use these characters without authorization in Morocco, our firm and on behalf of the company Disney often takes legal action to protect its rights through initiating cancellation actions based on copyright infringement.
