I specialise in contentious intellectual property work, in particular, patents and SPCs and have a successful track record in many of the recent precedent setting cases in the UK, including the Supreme Court, and the CJEU.

I have a good understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of my clients' business and undertake work of an advisory nature in the context of product management and market access, including advising on pan-European patent actions.

This year I have been ranked one of the Top 250 Women in IP by MIP / IP Stars.

Charlotte is well regarded by her clients who commend her for being “very good at considering the sector” “advising about what is going on and then providing advice that is relevant”. (General Counsel at large international generic pharmaceutical)

Having over 15 years’ experience working with clients in the life sciences sector, including pan-European co-ordination, I specialise in strategic litigation advice for life sciences companies. I have a good understanding of my clients' commercial goals which underpins my approach to patent/SPC litigation.
