The partnership of Viering, Jentschura & Partner (VJP) was founded in 1976 by Hans-Martin Viering and Rolf Jentschura. Both of our founding partners are still standing by our clients with words and deeds. Currently, Mr. Jentschura is managing and guiding the firm together with all other partners.
Experienced
More than 40 years later, VJP has become a worldwide operating patent and law firm with international experience. VJP has more than 20 partners and more than 180 highly qualified employees, including patent attorneys, attorneys-at-law, engineers and scientists. The partners of VJP have gathered expertise in the field of intellectual property for many years and worked in part as in-house attorneys. Some of our partners are members of the boards of examination for qualification and admission before the EPO and in Singapore.
The headquarters of Viering, Jentschura & Partner mbB is located in Munich which is also where the firm was founded. The Bavarian metropolis is regarded as the European capital of patent law. This makes us benefit from proximity and close contacts to the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office, the Federal Patent Court, and last but not least the Munich Patent Infringement Courts.
International
VJP currently has four branch offices and one representative office internationally. Our branch offices in Munich, Düsseldorf, Dresden, Singapore and our Taiwan (Taipei) representative office make us present at strategically important business locations in Europe and overseas. With its office in Singapore, VJP is located at the hub of Southeast Asia and is considered one of the Top Tier IP boutiques. Our business partners benefit from an established contact network, on-site service and our broad international expertise.
