  • Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries – Packed with quality mandates, this submission includes details of our advice to Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, the Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Society of the Manufacturers’ Association of Israel, Simplivia Healthcare Ltd., Pluristem Therapeutics Inc., Taro Pharmaceutical Industries, NovaSight Ltd. and Dexcel Ltd. in matters that will have a general bearing and importance to the entire pharmaceutical industry.
  • Telecommunications, where we likewise represent some of the major players – such as Partner Communications Ltd. – in this sector in complex and noteworthy patent infringement cases; we act for major cellular companies in Israel as well as for IBC Israel Broadband Company Ltd., a leading communication company.

Unparalleled Breadth of Expertise
Our IP team acts on:

  • Contentious matters (particularly complex patent, trademark and copyright litigation, as demonstrated hereinafter) – We advised Google and Waze Mobile Ltd. in a patent infringement claim relating to the Waze carpool ride sharing application. We also advise Toyota Motor Corporation on various legal disputes pertaining to the protection of its IP rights, particularly trademarks and copyright, in Israel.
  • Non-contentious matters (in particular, licensing of technology – for the technology transfer companies of Israel's major academic institutions, key clients in this regard include the respective technology transfer arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science, and also advisory – inter alia for Tel Aviv University and Bar-Ilan University);
  • Representing industry trade associations, as well as specific individual clients, before key committees of the Israeli Parliament and Ministries of the Israeli Government in connection with the drafting of legislation and regulations in the field of Intellectual Property.
