Founded almost 60 years ago, Preu Bohlig is among Germany's top IP Boutiques. We are exercising our leading practice through our offices in Munich, Dusseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg and Paris.

Our key strenghts lie in patents, trademarks, designs, competition and pharmaceutical law. For centuries, we have been providing counsel and representation in complex infringement and validity proceedings before the German IP Courts, the Federal Patent Court and patent offices, such as the EPO. With our Paris office, we are prepared to optimally represent our clients before the central division of the upcoming Unified Patent Court.

Preu Bohlig also acquired a very good standing in pharmaceutical and life science law with team members of our Munich office. We thus advice in German and European pharma law, medical product law and food supplements. This includes product launches, product design and product advertising as well as regulatory affairs.

Preu Bohlig represents a broad variety of clients, from small start-up companies to large international enterprises acting among others in the energy, medical technology, automotive, engineering, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, electronics, telecommunications and semiconductor technology sectors. Regular clients of ours are blue chips and large privately-held companies just like small and medium-sized enterprises, which are often leaders in their technical field. As a tradition, we maintain close contacts to the German industry. In the past years, we counted among our clients, eleven of the DAX-30, including the largest enterprises of Germany.

Our professional expertise is evidenced by extensive trial practice and a distinguished record as lecturers and instructors, as well as by numerous publications. The efforts of Preu Bohlig are often strategically coordinated with parallel litigation outside Germany, such as France, the Netherlands, the UK and the US. Many of our cases have influenced case law in a significant way.
