María Cecilia has over 25 years of experience in intellectual property and regulatory work and currently leads the IP and Regulatory department at CorralRosales. She regularly acts on IP matters for clients in several industries such as logistics, energy and natural resources, food and beverage, infrastructure and construction, insurance, pharma, and retail.
Under her leadership CorralRosales has become an indisputable leader at the local and regional level of intellectual property. María Cecilia represents many of the leading companies worldwide in all their intellectual property and regulatory needs, protecting trademark and patent portfolios in Ecuador and Latin America. Likewise, María Cecilia is widely recognized for her fight against piracy and counterfeiting with exceptional results.
María Cecilia is recognized within the industry for her attention to detail as well as for her ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
She is a regular speaker at forums and conferences on intellectual property issues and is the first Ecuadorian both to sit on INTA’s Board of Directors and form part of the Programming Committee of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
