Malek Hannouf is a Lebanese lawyer, member of the Bar Association of Northern Lebanon, with over 13 years of IP regional experience.
Malek completed his law license in Lebanon, and continued his master’s degree in business law and Taxation at Montpellier University in France.
Malek started his career as legal counsel at Saba IP & Co before joining Louis Vuitton in 2013 as Head of Intellectual Property department for Middle East & Africa.
Malek Joined the Gulf Brand Protection Group (Gulf BPG) in 2013 and is currently the chairman of the association since 2018. As well he sits on the board of The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property AIPPI UAE regional chapter.
Malek was appointed in 2022 as an expert member at Ministry of Economy Trademark office board of grievances.
Malek is a lecturer in Intellectual Property at several universities in MENA and has several published articles.
