Ezgi practices in the field of intellectual property rights and advises well-known brands within the scope of intellectual property disputes and litigation processes, especially in matters related to trademarks, unfair competition, patent and designs. In order to protect clients’ intellectual property portfolios, she takes part in filing oppositions before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, collecting evidence of proof of use, preparing cease and desist letters, assisting during negotiations for consent, coexistence or ownership arrangements, managing negotiations for clients and lawsuits before the courts. In addition, she provides legal support to clients in patent litigation procedures.
Ezgi supports a broad range of domestic and international companies, most notably in the food and beverage, fashion, cosmeticss and automotive sectors.
Furthermore, she supports clients in order to prevent counterfeit goods entering into Turkey, by handling seizure proceedings as well as criminal lawsuits including cases that lead to raids and seizures. She also assists clients in patent litigation.
