Carole Theuri is a respected Kenyan Advocate and the founder of Muthoni Advocates, a law firm specializing in Intellectual Property (IP) law. Called to the bar in 2010, Carole is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL). Her expertise in IP law has earned her international recognition, including being named a “Trailblazer” by World IP Review (WIPR) in their Influential Women in IP 2019 publication, which highlighted leading female IP practitioners globally.
Carole’s academic achievements include an LLM in Intellectual Property from Stellenbosch University (2015), an LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent (2007), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2008). She is also a registered Trade Mark and Patent Agent with the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) and an accredited agent with the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO).
