As a partner in our Intellectual Property Group in Hong Kong and Head of our Life Sciences & Healthcare Sector Group in Asia, I have 24 years' experience in advising clients in the life sciences, healthcare, food & beverage and retail & consumer sectors.
Specialising in the conduct and supervision of multi-jurisdictional IP and patent litigation, I have significant experience in litigating in the Courts in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Meanwhile, my non-contentious practice covers the development and implementation of IP protection strategies, regulatory advice, IP audits and clearances.
I also advise pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on regulatory issues, market authorisations, clinical trial agreements and public sector procurement. In recent years, I have also been involved in negotiating R&D agreements and technology licensing in both the biotechnology and pharmaceutical contexts.
Today, you'll find me ranked as a leading IP and life sciences lawyer by the major industry publications and legal directories including Chambers and Legal 500. I have also been recognised by Managing IP, ALB China IP, World IP Review, WTR 1000, IAM Patent, and China Law & Practice.
In addition to being a regular speaker at international conferences, I was involved in lobbying the HKSAR government and the HKSAR Legislative Council on copyright law reform. I am a member of APAA, INTA and the HKTMP.
