Appleyard Lees has announced that it has converted to a limited liability partnership (LLP). According to the firm's email circular, "[t]he business, assets and liabilities of the Appleyard Lees general partnership were transferred to Appleyard Lees IP LLP (Registered number: OC402854) on 15 March 2016". 

It added: "[w]e will ensure that our conversion to LLP does not affect your day-to-day dealings with us in any way.
