Top-tier UK IP firm RGC Jenkins & Co has fully merged with its long-standing German partner firm Maucher Börjes Jenkins. This news follows an initial merger in 2012 when Maucher, Börjes & Kollegen, as it then was, merged with RGC Jenkins & Co to form Maucher Börjes Jenkins.

Patent star Hugh Dunlop said: “…Many of our UK competitors are now looking into acquiring toeholds in Europe in response to the Brexit referendum.  We, however, have had an office in Munich for many years and started our association with Maucher Börjes in 2012 as a broader strategy which is serendipitous in the light of these events.” Trade mark star Katie Cameron added: “This merger into one European firm is part of our existing evolution and growth plans, and we are also currently looking at opening additional satellite offices.”

Maucher Jenkins has offices in London, Farnham, Munich, Freiburg, Basel and Beijing.
