Welcome to the 2020 edition of IP STARS.
We are publishing the ranking results from our research for the 2020 edition of IP STARS, a project which started in September 2019. This article summarises what we have published so far and what to expect from us in the coming weeks and months.
To view all the 2020/21 rankings we have published, please use the regional drop-down menu above or use the search bar to see if a firm or individual is ranked.
If you require the latest ranking logos or wish to publish your IP practice profile on your page, please contact our business development team here.
We have published the relevant firm rankings and IP Stars list in their respective print editions. The Trade Mark Handbook (Global edition) went to press in April while the US Handbook and Patent Handbook (Global edition) were published in July. The Rising Stars list is an online-only publication.
The last rankings table to complete our 2020 edition results publication is for IP transactions work; the table will be published in November.
We have started restructuring and updating the 2019 editorials (under the 'Review' tab) and this exercise is expected to last until the end of the year. In the meantime, if you have urgent updates please send them to us.
The main purpose of our independent editorials is to provide a simple snapshot of a firm’s IP practice, including some of its key practitioners and clients; the latest developments, in particular hires and departures; and useful testimonials, if available and appropriate. The firm reviews are now published on this website instead of in the handbooks.
Our research for the 2021 edition of IP STARS and MIP awards programme is already underway and firms are expected to submit their research forms before or on October 31 or the next working day (learn more here).
Sign up to receive our monthly newsletter (here) or keep an eye on our news page and social media channels (Twitter and LinkedIn) for updates. Our marketing/business development team will contact all ranked firms and individuals.
