Chris has successfully handled cases involving trade secrets related to software, software applications, and business operations, and the alleged misuse of company proprietary information and predatory employee hiring. He has also litigated many trademark and trade dress infringement matters, including in connection with the look and feel of graphical user interfaces and consumer product packaging; and numerous other business, employee and employment related disputes. His practice also includes advising companies in shareholder, partnership and LLC Member disputes and governance matters.
In addition, he frequently writes and speaks on the protection of intellectual property and the enforcement of employee non-competition and confidentiality agreements. He has represented clients in litigation in New Hampshire, New York, Texas, Illinois, California, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.
Chis is admitted to practice in the States of New Hampshire and New York, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire. He is a member of the New Hampshire, New York and American Bar Associations.
