Mr. Igor Simões has been employed as an Industrial Property agent, registered with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) since 2001. Igor currently serves as Delegate of the Intellectual Property Law Committee of the OAB Niterói and Corresponding Member of the Special Intellectual Property Committee of the OAB São Paulo.
Mr. Simões has over 25 years of professional experience, during which he has accumulated vast knowledge in several law firms, holding leadership positions until the founding of the Igor Simões Advocacia and Simões Intellectual Property firms. During his career, he also served as a guest professor of the postgraduate course in Competition Law and Intellectual Property at Universidade Candido Mendes. He has expertise in all areas of Intellectual Property, demonstrating vast experience in litigation before State and Federal Courts, as well as in all administrative petitions before the INPI. He has also worked directly in the management of national and international trademark and patent portfolios.
