Eben specialises in intellectual property litigation; advertising law and matters before the Advertising Standards Authority; domestic and international trade mark registration, searches and renewals, Intellectual Property aspects relating to commercial matters; and due diligence investigations. He has contributed to numerous publications including the South African chapter in INTA Geographical Indications, Certification Marks and Collective Marks: An International Guide and being the co-author of the Unlawful Competition chapter of Dean & Dyer: Intellectual Property Law (Oxford University Press); the South African chapter in the Intellectual Property Review; and the Sponsorship and Marketing Agreements chapter in International Business Transactions (Kluwerlaw).
