Yen Vu is an Executive of the Rouse Network and the Country Manager of Rouse Vietnam.
Yen Vu has been practicing intellectual property law for more than 14 years, starting with a leading local Vietnamese IP firm followed by Deacons in Australia (now Norton Rose Fulbright) and Baker & McKenzie in Vietnam before joining Rouse in September 2014. She specializes in contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters with a focus on protection, commercialisation and enforcement of trade marks, patents, copyright, domain names and trade names in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. She advises large companies in patent enforcement strategy in Vietnam. She also advises leading multinational companies on optimizing their IP portfolios in Vietnam and has extensive experience in enforcing their rights in trade mark appeals/oppositions, trade mark litigation as well as domain name disputes at WIPO Arbitration Centre. She also has significant experience in dealing with media and entertainment law, licensing and franchising, trade secrets, and employment law relating to intellectual property.
She has published in AsiaLaw & Practice, World Trademark Review and Vietnam Investment Review. She co-authored the book "International Copyright Law" published by Globe Law and Business in May 2013.
Yen is currently a member of the Copyright Committee of APAA and the Trademark Offices Practice Committee in INTA.
