Founded over a century ago, Brunini is based in downtown Jackson, and now has more than 60 attorneys located between its headquarters and two other Mississippi offices. The firm is organized according to three primary areas of concentration: commercial, litigation and regulatory law. Clients include numerous Fortune 500 companies and some of Mississippi's most high-profile corporate entities, such as the nation's largest privately held wireless company, one of Mississippi's largest health insurers, and one each, respectively, of the state's largest banks and largest health care providers.
The firm's IP group provides legal expertise on various transactional and litigation matters across patent, trademark and copyright law, especially with respect to the technology, telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries. Stephen Carmody's practice encompasses trademark and copyright law. Since joining the firm in 1998, Richard Cirilli's practice has been primarily focused on commercial litigation and health care, though he has gained industry recognition in the area of intellectual property litigation as well.
