Robin is involved in all areas of intellectual property law with a focus on patent, trademark and copyright law.
Robin studied both Law and Human Movement Sciences at the VU University Amsterdam. During his studies, Robin undertook two research internships with a focus on biomechanics (at the Leiden University Medical Center and at the University of Sydney). His law-thesis dealt with means of technical protection in copyright.
Robin has worked on a number of important cases including Intervet v. Merial regarding the alleged infringement of three of Merial’s patents by Intervet. Robin also represented Abbott in a patent dispute regarding its anti-TNFα product. Bayer asserted that Abbott's product infringed its patent.
