ARS-Patent is one of the leading Intellectual property firms in Russia with over twenty five years of experience in IP law.

The guiding principle of our firm is to ensure that the needs of each client are reflected in an individually tailored service, provided in the most proficient, cost-effective and timely manner.

Established in 1993, ARS-Patent has a long record of serving domestic and foreign clients interested in securing their intellectual property rights in Russia, Eurasian region and abroad. Launched as a three-person partnership, ARS-Patent has developed into a firm with 26 patent and trademark attorneys and about 60 members of support staff. From early on, it was one of our priorities to assemble a team of professionals with in-depth knowledge of technology and IP law. And we are pleased that it has not stayed unnoticed: year after year patent and trademark attorneys of ARS-Patent remain recognized in prestigious international and domestic rankings.

ARS-Patent’s team members come from a wide range of industries and academic fields, which enables our firm to connect each client with the expert best suited to quickly grasp and effectively address client’s specific needs.

ARS-Patent is doing its utmost to keep up-to-date on rapidly developing IP practice in Russia and worldwide. To stay informed on the latest technological advancements, our team members regularly attend the largest international conferences and events hold for industry and research communities.

ARS-Patent provides a comprehensive range of IP services in Russia and Eurasian region. In Eurasia we act as a single point of contact for clients seeking to obtain regional protection covering Russia and 7 other former Soviet republics: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan – the signatories of the Eurasian Patent Convention.

Our services cover all aspects of Intellectual Property law, including trademarks, industrial designs, inventions and utility models, software and databases, domain names and copyrights. We handle filing, prosecution, opposition, maintenance, transaction and enforcement of intellectual property rights related to all kinds of technological advancements, ranging from spacecrafts to pharmaceuticals.

Apart from the above, ARS-Patent also assists clients at pre-filing stage. Our specialists perform comprehensive clearance searches and evaluations of applications to prevent our clients from wasting their time and money on filing non-patentable or non-registrable matters. As one of post-grant services we offer trademark watching, which has proved to be effective in ceasing infringements at their earliest stage.

Clients can rely on us for providing anti-counterfeiting measures, including establishment of co-operation with the police, interaction with the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, representation of client’s interests before the Customs authority and recording trademarks in the Customs Register.
